ALUMINUM HONEYCOMB Core is an HEXAGONAL shaped Aluminum material . Thickness of Aluminum Foil of the core
Ranges from 0.035mm to 0.08mm and CORE is 10mm to 25mm ( Lesser core can be tried subject to qty.)
And height of the core is 6mm to 100mm. Diameter of the cell is generally 3mm to 25mm.
Thickness of the Foil an Density of the Honeycomb depend upon the Depending upon this Diameter of the cells.
Aluminum Honeycomb panels are sandwich panels consist of Aluminum or Fiberglass skin ( some times other materials like Plywood also) both sides and Aluminum Honeycomb is sandwiched between these two skins.
Aluminum Honeycomb is a Light weight material yet with Stiffness. It has resistance to Fire, Corrosion and Shear.
It is a durable material.
This has applications as Floor material, Roof/ Ceiling, Facades, Doors/ Door cavity filler ,Partitions.
These panels are widely seen in Aviation sector, Transport industry and also in nautical sector.
